These mugs were created by artist Rebecca May Verrill.
Each mug is unique and there is variation with volume and color, handle size, and the direction which the handle and logo face. All are wheel thrown and trimmed earthenware with white slip, with a screen printed logo and base (made from a solar exposure) and unique leafy individually freehand-cut (with scissors) paper stencils, painted with contrasting solid bands of color along the bottoms and selectively carved to accentuate contrast. The handles are pinched.
All fired to cone 03 in and electric kiln with food safe clear glaze. Hand washing is recommended, microwave use is not encouraged.
